BUCKEYECARE
Keeping “I care” in eye care.
Dr.
Bob Woodruff has been in private practice
since 1979 after graduating from the Ohio State University
with his Doctor of Optometry. Since 2004, his practice
has been known as BUCKEYECARE.
He has additional training in refractive surgery,
contact lenses, diabetic and eye-health management,
dry eye therapy, glaucoma diagnosis and management,
and cataract surgery co-management.
“Patients
are looking for comprehensive eye-health care which
combines proper understanding of patient concerns,
thorough examination using cutting-edge technology,
and great chair side manner,” says Dr. Woodruff.
“Some offices may offer speed, but we focus
on identifying and meeting the specific needs of each
of our patients. They only have two eyes and we want
to help them protect their eye health and offer the
best possible correction options available.”
He
is active in the community through both the Nordonia
Hills Rotary Club and Chamber of Commerce. He is also
on a local community zoning board. Dr. Woodruff volunteers
with the OOA Realeyes program bringing vision education
and awareness to children in local school districts.
He is active as well in his church and is on the board
of a local inner-city mission. He lives with his wife
in the Nordonia Community.
Dr.
Kathy Gonzalez graduated from Canisius College
in 1988 and from the Ohio State University in 1992.
Dr. Gonzalez brings a wealth of medical knowledge
to her practice and has fostered a variety of relationships
with doctors specializing in refractive surgery. Her
patients encompass all age ranges, with visual needs
ranging from eyeglasses and contact lenses to medical
problems of the eye and LASIK consultation.
Dr. Gonzalez has been a lecturer on various topics
at educational seminars for other optometrists. She
is active in her local church and has participated
in many medical mission trips to bring eye care to
underserved areas. She too is a volunteer with the
OOA Realeyes™ program. Dr. Gonzalez lives with
her husband and twin daughters in Macedonia.
Both Dr. Woodruff and Dr. Gonzalez are members of:
• American Optometric Association
• Cleveland Optometric Association
• Ohio Optometric Association
• Nordonia Hills Chamber of Commerce
• Fellowship of Christian Optometrists
• OOA Realeyes |
