Robert Woodruff II, O.D.

Dr. Bob Woodruff has been in private practice since 1979 after graduating from the Ohio State University with his Doctor of Optometry. Since 2004, his practice has been known as Buckeyecare Optometrists. He has additional training in refractive surgery, contact lenses, diabetic and eye-health management, dry eye therapy, glaucoma diagnosis and management, and cataract surgery co-management.

“Patients are looking for comprehensive eye-health care which combines proper understanding of patient concerns, thorough examination using cutting-edge technology, and a easy-to-understand communication,” says Dr. Woodruff. “Some offices may offer speed, but we focus on identifying and meeting the specific needs of each of our patients. We want to help them protect their eye health and offer the best possible correction options available.”

He is active in the community through a zoning board. Dr. Woodruff volunteers with the OOA Realeyes program bringing vision education and awareness to children in local school districts.
